Sam is committed not just to addressing today's climate crisis, but to restoring a government that can deliver lasting solutions — ones that protect our planet and serve future generations for years to come.

The data indicate that these policies already have broad public support and that the real barrier isn’t public will but rather a broken system. An unaccountable executive branch and a gridlocked Congress that has shirked its own Article I Powers have stood in the way of the clean energy future Americans want. 

Sam supports the policy suite commonly known as the Green New Deal and believes in harnessing technological innovation to reduce America’s dependence on fossil fuels and carbon-based energy. He champions an open-minded approach to clean energy solutions, including wind, solar and nuclear power. Sam recognizes solar costs are falling rapidly and making renewables more accessible than ever before.
